"I still can't believe you are gone. I will miss you sorely. The chats you and I had over the years will be missed. The stories of when we were young...playing in the woods...running away from Tim when he would try to make us wash dishes...all the hunting and working together...not to mention ALL the coffee we drank together... Until we share that next cup, my brother, my friend!

Terry, Terry, Terry... I so selfishly want you back here but you are really home now. Praise be to God! My goodness, we miss you. Seeing you at your's and Sue's 4th of July barbecues wasn't enough. All that I say now, I wish I would have said while you were still with us: I thank you from the bottom of my heart for introducing me to our Catholic faith. Nothing in the world could have been better for me! I love you for that. I am very, very proud of you and Sue for caring for Terry,Jr., Tony and Trinity and being the supportive person you are for all the grandchildren. I say ARE because you are with all of us in our hearts and ya know- we couldn't have made it without you. Because of YOU, our kids and grandkids AND great grandkids are better people than anyone has a right to have. They are God's gift to us and all of humanity. Now when we have Easter dinner together, we will be glorifying our Lord for the impact you've made on every one of us and through your strength and conviction, we are able to grieve your loss with the assurance of knowing that you watch and direct our paths right along with our friend Jesus! God bless you my friend... I love you!

Dad,

I can't believe you're gone. I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around this... feels like a dream. You taught me so much about life.... how to read, how to write, appreciate all kinds of music, how to be a good Christian and person in general, how to shoot a gun, how to cook the best chili ever made, how to drive, how to change a tire and check the oil, how to fiberglass... I'll never forget that smell of fiberglass resin and bondo... I used to sneak into shop when I wasn't supposed to be there because I liked the smell of that nasty stuff ;) You taught me how to be a good parent, to appreciate the little things, how to stand up for myself and be a leader, you taught me to take no crap from anyone and to always fight for what I believe in, you taught me to always stand up for family... no matter the circumstance.

No matter what I have done in my life, you were always there to tell me you were proud of me. And no matter what crappy relationship I was in... you were always there to help when I finally woke up and left them.

You were a father as well as a grandfather to Alyssa, I am forever in your debt for always being there to lean on throughout her life.

I remember when you went down to my high school and gave the P.E. teacher a piece of your mind because he got in my face and yelled at me. All of my friends thought you were the coolest dad ever that day.

You are so love and cherished Dad. I didn't get enough time with you... I didn't stop all the madness of trying to achieve something better long enough to tell you how much you truly mean to me. Well I'm saying it now, Dad, I love you with all of my heart and could not have asked for a better person to mold me into what I have become today.

Forever yours,

Your loving daughter, Trinity

To the only grandpa I ever had.. I never seemed to find the time to tell you, but I loved you so much. What you taught me can never be bought, it can never be replaced. I know I'll forever hold the memories though, from the late night cups of coffee (watching Fox News of course) to the early morning hunting trips. Things that happen in everyday life will constantly be a reminder of your impact on my world. I love you Grandpa. Smile up there in heaven cuz I know that's right where you want to be. We'll never forget you.

"Brother" Terry,
I'll always remember our Catholic talks, talks about FOX news, and EWTN. I'll miss the stories about you converting Idaho (one person at a time). Also, when you teased me about my answering machine voice and when I said you sounded like Tom Bodette who did the Motel 6 commercials. Just remember Terry to leave a light on for me.
Love Ya,
Your "Baby" Sister
Tracey

Terry can best be described in a verse from St. Matthew's Gospel. "Where you find your treasure there also your heart will be." I knew your treasure was your family and there was never any doubt about your "heart".
I too will miss you but I know we will see each other in eternity.
May God bless you and keep your family.
All My Love,
Your Sister,
Tina

Terry- Thank you for being the father I never had and the friend I always needed. I will miss our phone calls. You always had the right answers, even if it took me years to realize how right. I owe my faith to you. I remember once you said to me "the Catholic faith is a hard religion to live by but a good one to die by". I thought of that last week when I got the call that you had gone. I know you are in heaven where you belong with your mom. I will miss you more than words can express.
