Sherry Christine Briggs Fulkerson was born May 15, 1950 in Twin Falls, Idaho to Benjamin and Alice Briggs. She passed away Sunday, July 8, 2012 after a short but courageous battle with cancer, with her daughter and son by her side.
Sherry graduated from Twin Falls High School in 1968.
She spent most of her life in Twin Falls, Idaho, where she worked various jobs, most recently at the Twin Falls Senior Citizens Center as a head cook where she made many friends. Sherry was known for her witty sense of humor and love for animals.
Sherry is survived by her mother, Alice Briggs of Twin Falls, her daughters Amanda (Aimi) Cantu of Twin Falls, Betsey Fulkerson of Boise, and her son Drew Fulkerson of Twin Falls; her sisters, Shannon (Tony) Wasko of Kimberly, and Ivy (Mark) Sherburne of Hailey, and her three grandaughters, CaRissa, Tascha, and Kaycie of Twin Falls. Also, a great friend, Marilyn Wrobel.
She was preceded in death by her father Benjamin Briggs.
Services will be held at Parke's Funeral Home on Friday , July 13th at 10:00am, with Stewart Sandal officiating.
The family would like to request that in lieu of flowers , donations will gratefully be accepted for the Sherry Fulkerson Memorial Fund at Pioneer Federal Credit Union.
