Benjamin Warren Post

Benjamin Post, 76, passed quietly in his sleep on July 19, 2018, at Oak Creek Rehabilitation Center in Kimberly.   He was born on May 8, 1942 in Nyssa, Oregon, the son on Earl and Florence Post.  

He enjoyed fishing, camping and attending his church.  Ben greatly enjoyed his church family and children.  Since he and his wife never had children, Ben took every opportunity to spend time with children, often acting like an adoptive father to several.  

Ben was preceded in death by his wife Valda, his parents, two brothers William and Bernard Post.  He is survived by his two brothers - Robert Post of Eldorado Springs, Missouri, and Victor Post of Murtaugh, Idaho, sisters - Bonnie Schultz of Coos Bay, Oregon and Ella Lancaster of Kimberly, Idaho, along with countless nieces and nephews.  

Friends may call on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 from 5 - 7 P.M. at Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home, 2551 Kimberly Rd. in Twin Falls.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. at the Kimberly Nazarene Church, 3550 E. 3750 N. in Kimberly.  

The family requests in lieu of flowers memorials be made to the Kimberly Nazarene Church Children's Camp Fund.
