Martha A. Whitney

Martha Whitney- Martha was born August 21, 1919 and died June 22, 2011, at age 91. Her goal was a 110 until a horrible case of shingles averted her path. She was an amazing woman whom hiked through Australia & New Zealand; dug and built her house in Thayne, Wyoming; and could play the stock market like a broker. Although she suffered a stroke, she was always seeking alternative methods of healing. She loved everyone she met, a social butterfly with a contagious laugh and quick wit. She spoke her mind and told you how it was. Martha was a born again Christian and looked forward to joining many of her family members in heaven. She leaves behind her son, Rene "Paul" Demeule; Granddaughters Dana (Bill) Benkula and Debbie (Randy) Probasco, grandson Jed Demeule and two great grandsons, Brock Benkula and Sammy Probasco. A special thanks goes to Heritage Assisted Living Center for their love and care of our mom/grandma. Private family services will be held at a later.
