Brett Hanway

Brett "Spiffee" Hanway, 35 of Twin Falls passed away Monday, March 16, 2009 in Twin Falls. He was born September 24, 1973 in Washington, DC to Lewis and Barbara Hanway. Brett spent the early part of his childhood traveling the country and Europe with his parents as an Army family. Afterwards, he made a permanent home in Kimberly, Idaho. Brett met Debbie Sousa in October 1996 and spent 12 years creating a beautiful life and family together. To this union, two daughters, Tyra and Bryanna; a beautiful son, Daryl (who blessed us all for just a short time) were born. He enjoyed spending time skiing, tubing, white water rafting, basketball and on-line gaming. Brett was an avid KC Chief fan and enjoyed antagonizing his big brother and sister. In addition to his two daughters, Tyra and Bryanna, he is survived by his parents, Lewis and Barbara Hanway, brother, Robert (Rhoda) Hanway, sister, Kathy (Jeff) Logan, significant other, Janie Hamilton, several nieces and nephews and a wonderful assortment of very special friends. Memorial services will be held at 11 am Saturday, March 21, 2009 at Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home, 2551 Kimberly Road, Twin Falls. A graveside inurnment will follow at the Twin Falls Cemetery Memorial Columbarium.
