David Earl McClellan

David "Earl" McClellan, 53 passed away June 12, 2008 at Portnuf Medical Center in Pocatello. He was born February 19, 1955 in Jerome, Idaho to David Almon and Lila June McClellan. When Earl was 8 years old the family moved to Garden Grove, California where he grew up and graduated from Rancho Alametos High School in 1973. Earl moved back to Idaho in the 1980's taking a job at Cactus Pete's in Jackpot, Nevada working in the kitchens and then in Accounting. Earl was a very outgoing person. He always had a smile and a ready wit. He loved to play chess and enjoyed using his computer. He is survived by his parents, David & Lila, Twin Falls, Idaho; brother, Phillip (Becky) McClellan, Wildomar, CA; sister, Suzanne (Steve) Bergsen; nephew, Escott Bergsen, all from Summerville, S.C.; aunt, Mildred McGhee, Jerome; uncles, Earl Haynes, Jerome; Marvin (Marge) Haynes, Jerome; Edward (Jacqui) McClellan, Boise and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by 2 sets of grandparents; an uncle; 2 aunts; a nephew and a cousin. A short graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 20, 2008 at Jerome Cemetery.
