Bobbi Ann Parrott

July 9, 1967 — August 23, 2025

Twin Falls

Bobbi Ann Parrott, 58, peacefully passed away on August 23, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones on the family farm in Twin Falls, Idaho.

Bobbi was born on July 9, 1967, in Fort Lewis, Washington, to Les and Lorretta Cochran. Being in the Army, her family moved to Hawaii and then to Georgia. The family then moved to Emmett, Idaho, followed by a move to Buhl, Idaho, where she graduated from High School in 1986. She grew up with 2 wild younger brothers, Kirk and Scott, who would always give her a run for her money wherever they were.

While attending a young adult’s event at the Clay Caves in Eden, Idaho, she met Eric, who would become the love of her life. They began to talk on a regular basis and would write journal entries about how much they liked each other. On May 31, 1987, she wrote a journal entry stating she knew she was going to be Mrs. Eric Parrott. Their love would continue to grow while attending Ricks College together. In the fall of 1987, Eric asked Bobbi to marry him on September 7th, 1987, when Old Faithful went off at Yellowstone. They were married in the Boise Temple on January 16th, 1988. Once Eric graduated, they moved to Meridian, Idaho, where they welcomed their first son, Brodie. They then moved back to Eric’s family farm in Berger, Idaho, in 1992, where they would welcome four more children - Orrin, Riley, Meghann, and Tucker.

In 2002, despite many learning disabilities, Bobbi returned to school to become a teacher. Teaching was her passion and her life’s calling. During her studies, she student-taught at Filer Elementary School with Jana Humphries. She completed her teaching degree from ISU in 2007. She then taught at Lincoln Elementary School until 2013. A brain colloidal cyst was removed in September of 2013, which ended her teaching days due to the aftereffects.

During and after teaching, she enjoyed watching her children at whatever events they were doing. Softball tournaments with Meghann contained many highlights and stories. When not chasing kids, she liked to make flowers, quilts, and homemade cards. She loved spending time with her granddaughters.

She became a Rangeland Firefighter for the Shoshone Basin RFPA. She and Eric would go on many fire calls, and she would be his driver. She was also always willing to try out new things. Putting checkmarks on her bucket list, she and Eric went on a few trips to the Caribbean, New Orleans, Las Vegas, and Punta Cana, and even a BSU football playoff game with Tucker. Many memories from those trips were made with friends who soon found out she was a joy to have around.

Whenever the family went on a trip, they never got ‘Lost’, they merely were going on an ‘adventure’. This included camping, scouting, snowmobiling, and 4-wheeler adventures with family and friends.

During the past year, Bobbi fought a brave battle with her illness. She was strong through every step of the fight. Even when sick, she still found time to help whoever needed it or go to an event for one of the granddaughters. She loved her family very much and would give her all just to be able to soak in that experience with them.

Bobbi’s family would like to thank the staff at St. Luke’s for all they have done.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like for anyone who wishes to donate to:
