Brenda Jo Alderman

Brenda Jo (Whitehead) Alderman, age 41, of Twin Falls, Idaho, passed away January 10, 2023, surrounded by her loving family and friends. Brenda was born February 11, 1981, in Twin Falls, Idaho, the daughter of Gary and Valorie Whitehead. Brenda met her best friend and life partner Micheal in Twin Falls. They were married in Boise, Idaho. They have three amazing children: Kayleigh, Landin and Kooper. Brenda attended high school in Twin Falls and graduated in 1999. Brenda learned how to play the violin in 5th grade. From there she developed a passion for music. Her father bought her a fiddle. She took private lessons, played with the Old Time Fiddlers and competed in fiddling competitions. Brenda loved the game of baseball up until high school. Brenda was the biggest cheerleader for her children, whether it was for Kayleigh's dance recitals, Landin's Special Olympics or Kooper's baseball. Before Brenda became a mom, Brenda went to BSU and graduated with her dental assistant certificate. She enjoyed working in the dental field until they had their second child in 2005. Brenda worked various jobs but her favorite job was being a fulltime mom. Brenda helped raise many children. Many of Kayleigh's friends considered Brenda a mom. Brenda could be seen dropping kids off at school, dance classes, swimming lessons, doing all the girls' hair and makeup. Brenda loved everybody. She made some great lifelong friends along the way (Brad Durham, Mandy Graff, Laura Ward and Serena Retterath). Brenda loved spending time with her three children and husband, reading, watching chick-flicks, camping and baking. Brenda you will be deeply missed. We love you very much, until we meet again! Brenda is survived by her beloved husband, Mike of 20 years, children Kayleigh, Landin and Kooper. Siblings, Kody (Shelley) Whitehead, Stacie (Jason) Heath. Brother in laws, Steven (Amy) Alderman, James (Michelle) Alderman, many nieces and nephews, grandmother, Terry Whitehead and many aunts and uncles. Brenda was preceded in death by her loving parents, Gary and Valorie Whitehead, mother-in-law, Ednah Kay Alderman, grandparents, George and Barbara Mencl, Richard Whitehead, and Helen Devaney.
