David "Dave" Kendall Hill, 66, of Hansen, Idaho, passed away May 31, 2025, at St. Alphonsus in Boise, Idaho.
Dave, born on March 19, 1959, in Twin Falls, Idaho, to Bill and Virginia Hill. Dave was a devoted son, father, grandfather, and brother whose legacy will live on through his family and the many lives he touched during his time on this earth.

A graduate of Jerome High School class of 1977, Dave continued his education at Boise State University, before returning home to the Magic Valley. His early years were characterized by a passion for the car scene, where cruising in his beloved 1976 Cobra 2 brought him great joy. He cherished memories of helping on the family farm, supporting his sister Lisa with her horses, and spending precious moments hunting with his father.
Dave had a vibrant and outgoing personality, known to be loving and accepting of everyone. He particularly thrived in his role as a grandfather, with his five grandchildren—Odin Schmidt, Torin Schmidt, Dalton Schmidt, Ellie Peterson, Waylon Peterson, and Remington Peterson—being among his proudest accomplishments, alongside his two daughters, Jessica (Joe) Schmidt and Kendra (Kenzie) Peterson. Dave’s nurturing spirit was evident in the loving bonds he formed with his family.
