Carlyn Deanna Finney, 85 passed away April 7, 2025 at her home in Kimberly, ID. She was the youngest child of Kenneth Snelson and Myrtle Carlyn Mullins. Deanna attended school in Kimberly, ID, graduating in 1957. Shortly thereafter, she married and had three children, Brent Lasure, Lori Williamson-Whittemore and Jana Graham. In 1980 she remarried Floyd Finney aka “Finney” where they resided in Kimberly. She and Finney later became guardians to two of their grandchildren, Jayde and Ryan, selflessly raising them in Kimberly.

Deanna was best known for her vibrant red hair and her more vibrant opinions. She had the ability to strike up a conversation with anyone she came across and her quick wit kept people smiling. She often spoke of the support over the years from her many wonderful friends, who she always considered family. She loved to dance in her youth and enjoyed playing in pool and bowling leagues with friends. She could occasionally break out into an Elvis song, or any number of songs, if the mood or circumstance fit. We will miss her so dearly, she truly embodied a unique humor, resilience, and perseverance that we hope we can all take forward in legacy.

She is survived by her son, Brent (Debi) Lasure of Keizer, OR, daughter Lori (Jeff) Williamson-Whittmore of Twin Falls, ID, stepdaughter Yvonne Finney of Woodland, ID, grandchildren Josh Lasure, Travis Lasure, Zach (Edlin) Williamson, Brianna (Julian) Koerner, Jayde (Nick) Negrete, Kendra Williamson, Ryan Graham, Shailee (Phil) Horner, Chelsea Lasure, Brittany Lasure, Ashley VanSickle, Jaime VanSickle, Austin (Aimee) VanSickle. As well as many great-grandchildren whom she loved deeply.

She is preceded in death by her parents, loving husband Finney, and her daughter Jana.

At her request, there will not be a memorial service or graveside burial.
