Hailey

Delilah Terese Farley, born on January 28, 2009, in Ketchum, Idaho, passed away peacefully on September 2, 2025, in Hailey, Idaho. Delilah was a radiant spirit who touched the lives of everyone she met with her sassy personality and loving heart. At the age of 16, she brought joy and sunshine into the lives of many, and her love for life was evident in all that she did. Delilah was a true fighter. She was diagnosed with Rett Syndorme when she was 2 years old and was only expected to live to the age of 4. She proved to everyone and fought a long and hard battle, showing her true fire and fight she had.

Delilah was entering her junior year at Wood River High School, where she embraced her love for learning and cherished every moment spent at school. She cultivated a variety of interests, including a passion for reading, an admiration for dinosaurs and monster trucks, and a delight in music of all kinds. Her joyful spirit was contagious, especially when spending time with her family, taking drives with her father, or enjoying the stories her mother read to her.

Delilah was actively involved with Swiftsure Ranch in Bellevue, Idaho, where she flourished. Her heart was full of warmth and kindness, making a profound impact on the lives of those around her. She took great joy in the melodies of songs sung to her and thrived on the love and laughter shared with friends and family.

Delilah is survived by her devoted mother, Ceceilia Baker, and her father, Aaron Baker, both of Hailey, Idaho; grandparents, Jeff and Sharon Park, of Twin Falls, Idaho, Marvin and Lori Baker of Sparks, NV. Her presence will be greatly missed by her uncles, Mathew Farley of Conway, Arkansas, Michael Singarajah of Twin Falls, Idaho, and Casey Farley of Boise, Idaho. Delilah is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved her dearly.

Delilah is preceded in death by her great-grandmother, Cecilia Teresa Pachasa.

A Memorial Service for Delilah will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at 1 pm at the Blaine County School District - Community Campus, 1050 Fox Acres Rd, Hailey, ID 83333.

The family expresses heartfelt gratitude to the staff at St. Luke's Children's Hospital in Boise, her palliative care team, her Hospice of the Wood River Valley team, and the supportive Rett syndrome community on Facebook. They extend their deepest appreciation to all friends and family who have encircled Delilah with love, support, and kindness throughout her life. The Wood River community has been an invaluable source of strength and honor, and the family is incredibly grateful for the environment in which Delilah was able to grow and thrive.
