Dennis Cogswell

Dennis Cogswell, age 67, of Twin Falls, Idaho, passed away at Serenity Transition Care Center on May 16, 2022. Dennis was born in Jerome, Idaho, on May 5, 1955 at St. Benedicts Hospital to Ronald and Patricia Cogswell. He graduated from Twin Falls High School in 1973. Dennis was a founding member of Twin Falls County Search and Rescue for 40 years. He was an Exalted Ruler of the Benevolent Order of Elks, Snake River Lodge No. 2807 from 2006 to 2007 and active Past Exalted Ruler until 2021. He was the governor of the Loyal Order of Moose, Twin Falls Lodge 612 from 2002 to 2004. He loved snow machining and ATV riding with the Magic Valley Snowmachine Association and Magic Valley ATV Riders. Dennis was preceded by his mother Patricia Ann Cogswell in October 2015. He is survived by his father Ronald T. Cogswell, brother Gary Cogswell and wife Jennette Cogswell, Twin Falls, Idaho, brother Brad Cogswell and wife Patricia (Trish) Cogswell, Twin Falls, Idaho, and brother Douglas Cogswell and wife Mary (Terri) Cogswell, Kingston, Washington, three nephew and nieces and a loving extended family. A public viewing will be held at Parke’s Magic Valley Funeral Home on Wednesday the 25th between 9:00 am to noon. A public grave side funeral will be held at Twin Falls Memorial Cemetery on Wednesday the 25th at 2:00 pm.
