Donald "Don" E. Buie, 72, of Twin Falls, Idaho, passed away on Sunday, April 12, 2026, at his home in Twin Falls, Idaho, surrounded by his family.

Don was born on August 15, 1953, to Shirley Anderson and Hal Buie in El Paso, Texas. He was raised around the El Paso area and then joined the United States Air Force in October of 1975, and was discharged in 1977. 

After Don's discharge from the Air Force, he stayed in the Pacific Northwest, where he fell in love with the mountains. In 1991, Don met the love of his life, Shana Hutchins, and they married shortly after. From this union, they had two boys, Cody and Kyler. 

Don was a jack of all trades and worked as a handyman for many years, helping nearly everyone. Throughout Don's life, we worked for many hardware stores and knew just about everything about every department, and could help any customer that needed assistance. 

Don is survived by his wife; Shana Huchins-Buie, his children; Cody (Lalia) Buie, Kyler (Ashilee) Buie, and Lyllia Aspen Buie, his grandchildren; Kilha Fetterly, Shawn Norris, and Jessica Norris. He was preceded by his parents, Hal & Shirley Buie
