Florrita M Harker Rico

Florrita M. Harker, a beloved caregiver, nurturing mother, and devoted wife, passed away on July 6, 2025, in Rexburg, Idaho, at the age of 49. Born on September 9, 1975, in Phoenix, Arizona, she graced the lives of many with her unwavering faith and infectious sense of humor.

Florrita dedicated much of her life to caregiving, starting with her own father and extending her compassionate touch to hospitals and nursing homes. Her career was a testament to her giving nature, and she was known for going above and beyond for everyone she encountered. With a high school diploma in hand, from Riverdale Christian Academy she grew her skills not only in her profession but also in her love for family and the outdoors.

As a proud mother of four boys, Arquimides Palacios, Michael Palacios, Henry Palacios, and Trystan Bateman, Florrita poured her heart into nurturing her children, finding joy in their accomplishments and the little moments they shared. She was the embodiment of love and support, always championing the dreams of her sons while instilling in them her values of kindness and strength.

Florrita's vibrant personality set her apart. She was funny, compassionate, and known for her ability to bring laughter into any situation. Her faith was her anchor, strengthening her through life's challenges and enriching her relationships. Her legacy is that of a loving, caring individual who would do anything for anyone, traits that deeply resonated with all who knew her.

She leaves behind her loving spouse, Darin Harker, and her four sons, whose lives she transformed with her love and guidance. Florrita is also survived by her devoted mother, Perta Rico; her brothers, Henry (April) Rico, Joshua Rico, David (Elena) Rico, and Arturo (Esmeralda) Rico; as well as numerous nephews and nieces who will cherish her memory.

Florrita is preceded in death by her father, Henry T. Rico, and both her maternal and paternal grandparents.

A Viewing Florrita will be held on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Wilks Magic Valley Funeral Home, 2551 Kimberly Road, Twin Falls, Idaho 83301. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, July 17, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Magic Valley Worship Center, 302 3rd Avenue East, Twin Falls, Idaho 83301, with a viewing prior to from 12:00 - 12:45 pm at Magic Valley Worship Center, 302 3rd Avenue East, Twin Falls, Idaho 83301. Florrita will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Park, 2296 Kimberly Road, Twin Falls, Idaho 83301. The Funeral Service will be livestreamed.
