Heather Jean Hamilton Dalrymple passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 17, 2025, in Twin Falls, Idaho, at the age of 49. Born on December 9, 1975, in Garden Grove, Orange County, California, Heather brought light and laughter into the world from the very beginning.
Heather spent most of her life in Provo, Utah, where she grew up surrounded by family, a host of beloved pets, and a deep appreciation for nature and adventure. She lived her life full-throttle and approached every experience with courage, humor, and heart. Whether fishing in a mountain stream, camping under the stars, or setting off to explore new places, Heather embraced life with open arms and a fearless spirit.
She worked as a flight attendant for SkyWest Airlines, a job that allowed her to indulge her passion for travel and connect with people from all walks of life. Her career took her to many cities and even as far as Barcelona, Spain. She found joy in the journey, whether flying at 30,000 feet or pulling a handcart through the historic trails at Martin’s Cove, Wyoming.
On August 13, 2013, Heather married Brett Dalrymple in a beautiful park nestled in Provo Canyon. Together, they welcomed their son, Cole Dalrymple, on February 11, 2014, in Provo, Utah. Cole became the joy of Heather’s life. She adored being his mom and loved nothing more than spending time fishing with him, especially along the trout-filled rivers near Twin Falls, Idaho.
Heather will be remembered for her adventurous soul, loving heart, and the deep bonds she shared with her family and friends. Her memory lives on in the laughter of her son, the trails she wandered, and the skies she once flew.
She is survived by her husband, Brett Dalrymple, and their son, Cole Dalrymple, her parents, Bruce & Debbie Hamilton, her brothers Andrew and Christian and sisters, Julie, Melanie. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Heather's funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at 11:00 am Mountain Time, with a viewing prior to from 10:00 am - 10:45 am at Wilks Magic Valley Funeral Home, 2551 Kimberly Road, Twin Falls, Idaho 83301.
