Karyn Marie Saliger, 65, of Twin Falls, Idaho passed away on Friday, April 17, 2026, at her home, leaving behind a legacy of love and countless treasured memories shared with those fortunate enough to know her.

Karyn was born on March 22, 1966. Karyn grew up in a close and caring household alongside her five siblings, where lifelong bonds were formed and family remained at the heart of her life. She graduated from Foothill High School in Sacramento, California, in 1979.

On August 14, 1993, Karyn married Mark Saliger, and together they shared 27 years of marriage until his passing in 2021.

Karyn found happiness in life’s simple joys. She dearly loved her dogs, Cotton and Riley, cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren, and held deep affection for the friendships she nurtured over the years. She was also known for her fondness for a good German chocolate cake. Honest and candid, Karyn spoke her mind with sincerity, and she was a devoted sister and family member whose presence brought warmth and joy to those around her.

She is lovingly remembered by her siblings: Linda Jackson of Brentwood, California; Janet McKenzie of Westerville, Ohio; Gary Winn of Carmichael, California; Joe Winn of Sacramento, California; and Patricia Winn of Coos Bay, Oregon. She is also survived by her son, Jon Easton, and daughter-in-law, Tristan Easton, of Caldwell, Idaho; her grandchildren, Shawn Easton and Leela Easton; along with many nieces and nephews.

Karyn was preceded in death by her father, Robert Winn (2015); her mother, Joyce Winn (2020); and her husband, Mark Saliger (2021).

Karyn will be remembered for her strong spirit, her deep love of family, and her honesty that came from the heart. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved her.
