Kathleen Mary McDonald Dexter

Born July 4, 1949 in Hollywood, CA to Virginia and Charles McDonald. She grew up in Sparks, NV and graduated from Sparks High School. Kathy earned her AA from Gavilan College in Gilroy, CA and her BS in Elementary Education from Idaho State University. She was passionate about being a teacher and having a positive impact on young children. She wishes all to know that she is at peace in the hands of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and with her “baby” once more. “I pray that in some small way I glorified our Lord in my lifetime.” Kathy is survived by her brothers Pat and George Perkins, her children Jeff Dexter, David Dexter and Heather Fairbanks, her grandchildren Jacob, Jordan, Jarret and Jamesina Dexter, Mariah Fairbanks, Jake Russell and Addisyn Dexter and of course her beloved kitty, LouLou. She was preceded in death by her youngest son Joseph Dexter. As many of you know, Kathy loved animals, kitties were extra special to her.
