Kenneth Albert Cameron

July 24, 1940 — February 26, 2022

Kenneth Albert Cameron passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home on Saturday, February 26th, 2022 with loving family by his side. Kenneth was born in Twin Falls, Idaho on July 24th, 1940 to Harold and Virginia (Denney) Cameron. Following his early years of church, farming, and football, he graduated from Valley High School in 1958. He then enlisted in the Army National Guard and attended basic training at Fort Ord, California before transferring into the US Air Force. While stationed in Mildenhall, England, he met Corinne Sibson in Leicester, England and they were married on May 4th, 1963. Their first son, John was born in Mildenhall, and a daughter, Kimberley followed while the family was stationed at F.E. Warren AFB in Cheyenne, Wyoming. In 1969, Kenneth was deployed to serve his country in Vietnam for one year. Following Kenneth’s deployment, the family was stationed at Aviano AFB in Italy for 4 years, where they spent their free time traveling Europe. After a brief stay in Denver, CO where Kenneth attended the Devry Electronics Institute, the family moved to Mountain Home AFB. In 1978, Kenneth’s final oversees orders sent the family to Yakota AFB in Japan, where son, Matthew was born. In 1981, Kenneth retired from the USAF after serving his country for more than 23 years, and the family settled in Kimberly, Idaho, where he worked tirelessly to provide a good life for them. He lost his wife Corinne to illness in 1987. On April 26th, 1996, Kenneth married his wife, Jacque Brown, who remained by his side until his passing. Their marriage welcomed Jacque’s son Brian Van Buren and daughter Lorie Lee Pierce into the family. Together the happy couple enjoyed attending concerts, gardening, and being surrounded by their loving children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and pets. Kenneth also enjoyed playing piano, hunting and fishing, and he was an avid bowler. He was a devoted, life-long member of the Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Hansen, Idaho.
