Larry Berton McKay

Larry McKay, age 81, of Twin Falls, Idaho, passed away at home surrounded by his loved ones on November 9, 2021. Larry was born in Twin Falls, Idaho on January 7, 1940, to Hubert F. and Auta O. McKay. He graduated from Twin Falls High School, served in the military, then upon returning home he worked on his farm and at the post office. He also furthered his education at the College of Southern Idaho. Larry met his future wife during his elementary years. They married on November 7, 1961, in Twin Falls, Idaho. Larry enjoyed golfing, fishing, and hunting, but above all he loved his family and the farm the most. He was very active in his church family and served as an usher. Larry is survived by his wife Charlene and his four children and their spouses. Richard/Vinita, Dean/Cheri, Mike, and Ginger/Bob. He is also survived by his brother John and his wife Ruth. Plus, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and many nieces/nephews. A memorial service will be held on December 12, 2021, at Parke’s Magic Valley Funeral Home at 11am. There will also be a luncheon following the service at the Twin Falls Senior Center at 1pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Visions Healthcare.
