Lawrence L. Jones Lawrence L. Jones, a local Real Estate Broker and Investor recently died November 17, 2022 in Twin Falls. Lawrence was born June 29, 1930, the son of William and Minerva Jones of Van Deuser, Mo. They were farmers. Lawrence is survived by his wife, Patty Light Jones of Twin Falls, Id, son Mark L. Jones of Twin Falls, Id, and daughter Kathryn Jones Sonderman of Albany, Oregon. Larry has one grandson Grant Lawrence Jones of Portland, Oregon and one granddaughter, Lauren Sonderman of Albany, Oregon. Larry has four brothers and two sisters. Larry left southeast Mo. When he was 14. He worked numerous farm related jobs until he was old enough to join the Airforce at 17. He entered the Airforce Nov. 27, 1947, and retired May 31, 1968. He then moved to Twin Falls, Id in 1970 with his wife Dolores, son Mark and daughter Kathryn. He was divorced from Delores Fisher Jones, December 1994. Larry and Patty Light Jones were married Sept. 9, 1995, at Blue Lakes Country Club on Tee Box #6. Larry became a car salesman in 1970 for one year at Wills Motors and then entered Magic Valley Realty on July 1971, where he worked until forming Larry Jones Realty in 1980. He built Falls Professional Center and Blue Lakes Professional Center with partner Bob Brehm. He was managing the professional centers, skiing, and playing golf at the time of his death. Larry was a loving husband, father and wonderful friend. He always said, “HE HAD A GREAT LIFE FROM HUMBLE BEGINNINGS, BEYOND HIS WILDEST EXPECTATIONS.” Cremation was under the direction of Parke’s Magic Valley Funeral Home. Service arrangements are pending at this time.
