Linda May Foreman, 72, of Twin Falls, Idaho, passed away at her home on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, in Twin Falls, Idaho.
Linda Foreman was born on June 2, 1952, in Boise, Idaho. She was adopted on the day of her birth by Bob and Martha Watson, whom brought her home to Twin Falls, Idaho.
Linda remained in Twin Falls throughout her school years, eventually graduating from Twin Falls High School in 1970. During her time in school, Linda always kept herself busy. She took piano lessons for five years, and dancing lessons for 10 years; she was particularly fond of tap dancing. She held many offices during high school, including junior class secretary, student body secretary, girls’ state delegate, junior drill team president, and Editor of the Bruins News. She was also a member of many clubs, including but not limited to the French club, Mu Alpha Theta, and the pep club.
Linda began college at Colorado State University in Fort Collins and kept up her busy schedule. She was a member of the flag team and joined a sorority, Sigma Kappa. Although her frequent relocation throughout her life prevented her from finishing her program at CSU, later Linda was able to finish her bachelor’s degree in political science at Fullerton University, California.
While spending time in the bowling alley at Colorado State, Linda met her future husband, Olen Foreman. The two were married at the Twin Falls Presbyterian Church on December 8, 1973. They were also eventually blessed with two sons: Blair Foreman, born June 15, 1976, and Brett Foreman, born May 24, 1978.
Olen’s job kept the family moving for much of their lives, with the couple setting up house in Summit, New Jersey; Plainfield, Illinois; Webster, Texas; Chicago Heights, Illinois; Arcadia, California; Orangevale, California; and Yorba Linda, California. Upon Olen’s retirement, the Foremans returned to Twin Falls, Idaho.
As an adult, Linda continued to be an active member of her community. She was involved in several women’s clubs, PEO, and the Presbyterian Church. She always prided herself on being a good mother and wife. In her free time, Linda could often be found enjoying cooking, sewing, quilting, crocheting, and needlepoint work.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Martha Watson, and her brother, Jim Watson.
Linda is survived by her husband of 51 years, Olen Foreman; her sons, Blair (Jenneifer) Foreman and Brett (Casey) Foreman; and three grandchildren, Hakyn Foreman, Kamali Foreman, and Riley Foreman.
