Marianne Mae Geilman passed away in the arms of her parents on Sunday, October 19, 2025, in Seattle, Washington.
Mae entered this world on Sunday, August 17, 2025 in Twin Falls, Idaho with numerous health challenges. Though her life was spent in hospitals, she filled the world with her love and light. All who cared for her admired her courage, strength, spunk, and her loving demeanor.
Mae enjoyed listening to countless stories read and shared by family. She loved having her hair washed and brushed. She enjoyed any chance she had to taste milk from her mom. Snuggling with her mom and dad were her favorite times of the day along with visits from her big brother. Mae also was given a name and a blessing by her dad. Mae and her family were also blessed beyond measure by the prayers and compassion from so many people on this earth and in heaven.
Our family is forever changed and forever grateful to have had the time we had with Mae, however brief. Mae is survived and forever remembered and loved by her parents, Spencer and Emily Geilman, and her proud big brother, Russell. She is also survived by her loving grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousin.
A memorial service for Mae will be held on Monday, October 27, 2025, at 6 pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2680 Elizabeth Blvd, Twin Falls, ID 83301. The memorial service will be live-streamed. Click Here to View Memorial Service
Memories and condolences may be shared with the family in the guestbook section below. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mae's name to the National Down Syndrome Society (NDSS).
Too Soon - Mary Yarnall
This was a life that had hardly begun
No time to find your place in the Sun
No time to do all you could have done
But we loved you enough for a lifetime
No time to enjoy the world and its wealth
No time to take life down off the shelf
No time to sing the songs of yourself
Though you had enough love for a lifetime
Those who live long endure sadness and tears
But you’ll never suffer the sorrowing years
No betrayal, no anger, no hatred, no fears
Just love – only love – in your lifetime.
