Marilyn Lenoir Loucks was born March 26, 1943, in Twin Falls, Idaho to Wilbur and Hazel (Sudderth) Loucks. She passed away on July 3, 2025, at Twin Falls Transitional Care. A lifelong resident of Idaho, she lived most of her life in Gooding.
Marilyn had a serious illness when she was 2 years old and was never able to live independently after that illness. She attended special education classes in Idaho and Indiana.
Marilyn was very interested in current events and had a phenomenal memory. She was a social butterfly and participated in many activities in the nursing home. She loved to play ingo and do crafts. She had a smile on her face and happiness in her heart. She brought joy to both her family and those who cared for her.
She is survived by her sisters, Gwendolyn (Ralph) McCray of Orofino and Carolyn Robison of Twin Falls and her nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Leon Loucks.
The family wishes to thank the caring staff at Twin Falls Transitional Care in Twin Falls. We have been overwhelmed by the staff's love for Marilyn. They were always kind to her, and she was very happy there.
