Marvin Molyneux

September 19, 1932 — March 8, 2022

Marvin Clyde Molyneux, 89, passed away peacefully at home on March 8, 2022. He was born, in Declo, Idaho, on September 19, 1932, to Clyde and Nina Molyneux. The family later moved to Twin Falls, Idaho, where he learned farming skills from his father. Marvin was a proud participant of FFA at Twin Falls High School, where he graduated in 1951. Marvin met Sally Martyn in grade school. They later married and had four children, Dave, Carole, Chris and Lois. They lived in Picabo, Twin Falls and Kimberly, where their lives were filled with farming, milking cows, church and family gatherings. When he wasn’t busy farming, the family enjoyed snowmobiling, dancing in the living room, playing softball, ping pong, and croquet. Marvin had a strong work ethic, which enabled him to be a successful farmer until he retired at the age of 80. He liked to fish, golf, hunt, golf, camp, golf, play softball, golf and, oh yeah, golf,,, FORE!! Marvin was a member of the Jerome Country Club from 1978-2021. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Twin Falls, Idaho and enjoyed playing cards at the Senior Center in his later years. Marvin was proceeded in death by his wife, Sally, of 65 years, son, Dave Molyneux, and sister, Nina Kuehn. He is survived by his children Carole Molyneux (Ron Ressler) of West Jordan, UT, Chris Perry (Ellis) of Boise, ID, and Lois Molyneux of Canby, OR. He has 5 grandchildren, Megan Arrington (Jayson), Derek Molyneux (Kendra), Adam Molyneux (Tessa), Jake Alvord (Angie), and Whitney Brickey (Garrett), along with sixteen great grandchildren. He is survived by his sister, Lois Roberts, brothers A.W. (Bill) Molyneux (Maxine) and Earl Molyneux, and many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held for Marvin at a later date. The family is so thankful to the wonderful staff at Visions Home Health and Hospice for their never ending care and love for our Dad, Grandpa, Brother, Uncle and Friend. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Visions Home Health, 455 Parkview Loop E, Twin Falls, ID 83301.
