Melissa Dawn Halbesleben

Melissa Dawn Halbesleben, 35, of Gooding, passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on February 21, 2026.

Melissa was born on December 3, 1990, in Jerome to William Bingham and Barbie McManus. She grew up in Idaho and stayed close to her family throughout her life.

On March 27, 2024, she married her husband, Jacob Halbesleben.

Melissa’s favorite thing to do was spend time with her daughters. They meant everything to her, and she loved being their mom.

She is survived by her husband, Jacob Halbesleben of Gooding; her daughters, Alexis McManus and Aliah Peterson, both of Twin Falls; her mother, Barbie (Terry) McManus of Dietrich; and her father, William (Deanna) Bingham of Twin Falls.

She is also survived by her brothers, Jon McManus of Shoshone, Nade (Rain) Jones of Jerome, and Thomas Lanham of Twin Falls; her sister, Jennifer (David) Patterson of Shoshone; her half-brother, Mykell Bingham of Meridian; and her half-sister, Ceanna Bingham of Twin Falls; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Melissa was preceded in death by her Grandma Linda and Grandpa Bud Whismore; Grandpa Clayton; Grandpa Louie and Bea Warren; and her grandparents, William and Anna Bingham.

She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
