Obituary

Pearl Anne Peterson, born on March 31, 1953, in Caldwell, Idaho, passed away peacefully on March 9, 2026, in Twin Falls, Idaho. Surrounded by her family during her final moments, Pearl's life was filled with love, hard work, and a deep appreciation for both the simple and joyful things that life offered.

Pearl demonstrated a strong work ethic throughout her career and eventually became self-employed, where she was truly her happiest. Her dedication to her work was matched only by her love for family and friends, who greatly admired her for this trait.

Her life's journey included a marriage to Roger Evans in 1970, which saw her moving to Buhl, Idaho, where she raised her family before their divorce thirteen years later. From this union came three daughters, Patricia "Pat", Ranee, and Paula. She later married Larry House in 1989, a union that lasted until their divorce in 1997. Eventually, Pearl relocated to Twin Falls, where she continued to follow her passions and chase her dreams.

Pearl loved to celebrate the 4th of July and Thanksgiving, occasions that brought her family together, where she was most proud. Pearl was known for her love of gardening in her early years. This love made it possible for her to often work in greenhouses, where her green thumb flourished. Singing at church was another joy in Pearl's life, as was going on motorcycle trips to Yellowstone and Redfish Lake. She delighted in occasional trips to Jackpot. But her family being together brought her the most joy. The holidays and even playing volleyball were some of her things that brought her the most joy.

Pearl is survived by her daughters; Patricia "Pat" (Bruce) Henry, Ranee Simon, and Paula (Chris) Thompson her grandchildren: Nathan (Taylor) Simon, Tyeler Hitzeman, Austin (Sarah) Thompson, Paige (Tye) Ferguson, Shelby (Josh) Borrayo, Luke (Morgan) Henry, Maddy Henry and Hunter (Liz) Thompson, along with nine great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother; Bill Phillips, her twin sister; Evelyn (Allen) Barzee, and sister; Frances Peterson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Eldon and Marjorie Peterson; her former husbands; Roger Evans and Larry House, her grandson; Matthew Simon, and her sister; Marion Martin.

The family extends special thanks to Dave & Barb Brenned and Debi Koger for their support during this time. Pearl Anne Peterson's spirit will forever remain with those who knew and loved her.
