Randolph Gardner

May 16, 1953 — February 14, 2021

Pastor Randolph “Randy” Roy Gardner, age 67, of Twin Falls, Idaho, passed away at home on February 14, 2021. Randy was born in Twin Falls, Idaho, on May 16th, 1953, to Fred and Flossie Gardner. He graduated from Filer High School in 1971 and later attended the College of Southern Idaho pursing a degree in Art. Later, he graduated with a Degree in Theology in 2004 from Berean College. Randy met the love of his life, Annette Hansing, in high school. They were married on November 23rd, 1973 in Filer, Idaho. A strong work ethic was instilled into Randy at an early age by his father. He desired to fully provide the best for his family. His hard work motivation was instilled into his children who now appreciate those lessons. Randy loved music. He loved to sing and play music in all venues from performance to worship in church. He owned over 20 guitars and bass guitars, all of which he played and cherished. Annette, his wife, was known to say that she had to work to support his guitar habit. He loved woodwork, even to the point of building a custom guitar. He had a love for motorcycles. Although he had many miniatures, he never owned one he could ride. He loved the Bible, owning multiple versions and commentaries. He actively studied the Bible, yearning to know and understand the words of God more deeply. He loved to talk to anyone about Jesus, and how amazing Jesus was in his life. He worked various jobs and held multiple positions before finding his true passion in the ministry in the role of a Pastor. As a Pastor, he loved to teach the word of God in such a way that everyone would understand. He pastored multiple churches, from Twin Falls to Jackpot to Burley, Heyburn, and Rupert. As a Pastor, he loved people. He would often say that all people have value and there is no one alive who is unlovable. He was always willing to open his house to those in need and did so on many occasions. He was in Pastoral ministry for over 20 years and was the Senior Pastor at Grace Church Twin Falls at the time of his passing. Randy was preceded in death by one daughter, Melissa Dawn, his father Elvin Fred Gardner and his mother Flossie E. Gardner.
