Shirley Ann Todd

December 12, 1942 — September 7, 2024

Jerome

Shirley Ann Todd, née Richard, born on the twelfth day of December in 1942, gracefully embarked on her eternal journey on the seventh of September, 2024, in Jerome, Idaho. A luminous spirit, she hailed from the sun-kissed landscapes of California, where her early years were filled with the warmth of family and the beauty of creativity that would define her life.

Shirley’s passion for sewing and crocheting wove an intricate tapestry of love and craftsmanship, showcasing her talent and dedication to the art. Known for her remarkable creativity, she transformed the simplest materials into cherished keepsakes and gifts, instilling joy in the hearts of those around her. Her crafty disposition was a reflection of not only her skills but also of the heartfelt affection she bestowed upon her family and friends through each lovingly made piece.

A devoted wife, Shirley found companionship and love in her husband, Joseph Todd. Her proudest accomplishment: her children, Darrell Creek, Scott Creek and Shelley (Creek) Lewis.

The embrace of death has, however, separated Shirley from son, Scott Creek, who has preceded her in death. She is also reunited in spirit with her parents, John Raymond and Verda Richard, and her dear brothers, Dwight and Duane Richard. Each of these bonds held a special place in her heart, and she now traverses beyond the earthly realm alongside them, enveloped in everlasting peace.

Her warmth and generosity will be deeply missed by the surviving members of her family, particularly her children, Darrell and Shelley, who carry forward her legacy with profound love and gratitude for the lessons learned and the memories cherished. While her earthly presence may have departed, the essence of her spirit continues to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her.
