Vernon Ray Adams

Vernon Ray Adams, age 85, of Hansen, Idaho, passed away Saturday March 4, 2023, at his home surrounded by his loved ones. Vernon was born in Union Southeast South Carolina to Gladys Adams. He grew up in Scotts County Virginia area until he moved to Idaho in June 1957. He was a machinist at Kringles/Acmes until his retirement. He married Phyllis Reed on March 31st, 1958, and they lived in Twin Falls from 1958-1960. They purchased a home in Hansen in 1960 and then later built a new home when he resided until his passing. He is proceeded in death by his wife Phyllis, his mother Gladys, two grandsons, two brothers and two sisters. He is survived by three children Jimmy (Tennisa) Adams of Kimberly, Idaho, Virgil (Karen) Adams of Kimberly Idaho, and daughter Mary (Dale) Malone of Nampa, Idaho. He is also survived by Six grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Brothers, Howard and Tom Berry, Sisters Helen Calhoun, Agnes Berry, Martha (Janie) Laney, Etta Estop and Jean Adams all of the Duffield Virginia area. He also is survived by a brother-in-law Leon (Ginger) Reed of Kimberly, Idaho, and sister-in-law Vera Reed of Twin Falls, Idaho. Graveside Services will be held Saturday March 11th, 2023 at 3pm Rock Creek Cemetary in Hansen, Idaho.
