Our Story

Parke's Magic Valley Funeral Home began in 1997, when Mike and Catherine Parke founded the funeral home. In the summer of 2007 due to ill health, Mike and Catherine sold the funeral home, until Mike received a liver transplant and returned to fair health. On May 15, 2009 the Parke's repurchased the facility and were proud to once again serve the people of the Magic Valley. 

In July of 2023 Mike and Catherine Parke retired, selling the funeral home to Brock and Laci Wilks of Wilks Funeral Homes. Wilks Funeral Homes has been serving the communities of Southeast Idaho since 2008. Wilks Funeral Homes mission in funeral service is to provide a superior level of service to those families who entrust us with the care of their loved one. It is our commitment to exceed expectations in funeral service as we strive to lighten the burden during one of life's most difficult milestones. We look forward to bringing this mission to the Magic Valley Community.
